Your daily excursions around the Cape Tatnam Wildlife Management Area that surrounds the lodge will not only bring you (safely) face to face with polar bears, but also with wolves and black bears. It's the unique convergence of eco-systems – where boreal forest meets the Subarctic beside the coastal waters of the Hudson Bay – in Manitoba that allows so much local flora and fauna to flourish.

The seven-day, six-night, Rail Plus package includes two nights in Winnipeg, four nights at the lodge, as well as roundtrip airfare between Winnipeg, Gillam and the lodge. Most meals are included. Passengers will need to make their own way between Winnipeg Airport and the Grand Winnipeg Airport Hotel on the first and last day.
