Known as a ‘conservation jewel,’ Tetepare is a unique, locally owned and managed eco lodge, housing only 13 visitors at a time. You’ll sleep in a leaf-house set on the edge of the rainforest, close to a sparkling azure lagoon. Explore rich coral reefs and cultural sites, assist rangers with conservation work and snorkel in one of the largest marine protected areas in the Solomons.
After catching a flight from Brisbane to Honiara, take a plane to Munda where you can catch a motorised boat to Tetepare – this journey takes up to two hours.

Fees are per person – US$62 per adult and US$31 per child (2–12 years old). You’ll also have to pay a one-off conservation fee per person to help support the conservation programs on the island – US$13 per adult and $6 per child.

There are significant issues with alcohol and locals on Tetepare. Alcohol is not available on the island, and it is preferred that you don’t bring any with you. If you do bring alcohol to the island, please be mindful and drink it in your room, not in front of everyone else.
